Traditional Assam Silk (Pat) (Mulberry) Mekhela Sador Set: Ready to wear, tailored piece in traditional high shine Assam Silk Fabric! This is a woven piece. Exquisite red motifs weaved on black silk fabric. Technically it is not an Indian Saree but it can look similar. I find it easier to drape. I bought it couple of yrs ago, worn only once for 2 hours. I am no longer emotionally connected to this piece so want to sell it. Traditional 3-piece outfit! • Mekhela to be worn on the bottom over an underskirt. 36” wide and 42” long. • Blouse is stitched for 34B size. Under the breast the length is 15”. Shoulders are about 15-16”. Hand half sleeve about 6”. There is a little bit of fabric for adjustment. You can always use a crop top or any top if the blouse does not fit you. • Sador is to be wrapped around on the upper body over the mekhela and blouse. 37” wide x 55” long.
